The Parish Education Committee is composed of seven (7) members. Five (5) are elected and two (2) are appointed by the Pastor. The Pastor is ex-officio a member of the Committee and of all sub-committees.

Education Committee meetings are scheduled for the second Thursday of each month.

The Parish Education Committee is a group of elected/appointed members who work with the Principal and Pastor to run the school. Their responsibilities include: Implementing policies per CISVA (Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese), local policies, maintenance, overseeing the school budget, fundraising efforts, hiring staff (in consultation with the Principal and Pastor) and other issues as they arise. Requests by non-members to speak at meetings must be in writing and received seven days in advance.

If you are interested in becoming a PEC member, elections for the PEC are held each year in May. Those eligible to hold office as a member of a Parish Education Committee are practicing Catholics, approved by the Pastor, who are eligible to vote in that parish and have reached the age of twenty-one (21).
