International Students
Assumption School welcomes International Students into its community to learn and live life in Canada, learning our culture, our language, and making friends along the way.
Should you wish to have your child attend our International Student Program here at Assumption School, please fill out these two forms and send them, as well as the necessary paperwork as indicated on the forms, to Assumption School for processing.

Assumption School is located in a coastal town on the scenic west coast of British Columbia, Canada. Powell River is very accustomed to having international students study here for many reasons: the abundancy of wildlife and clean air; the family-like atmosphere that we provide at Assumption School; the safety that our small community offers; students learn to speak english fluently with our english-speaking homestay families; English as a Second Language (ESL) schools are located close to the school for those that require further assistance with their English; the list goes on and on. There is also a newer ESL college in town: Westwind English Academy
